Entry Requirements
1. Good physical and mental health (no infectious diseases and no physical or mental diseases affecting normal study).
2. Applicants should hold a high school diploma and be under the age of 30 before September 1st, 2022.
3. Applicants should be competent in performing scientific research works and maintain a good academic grade level.
The cut-off requirement for the academic grade level is 75% for Scholarship Applicants, 70% for Self-supported Applicants. The global standard tests SAT/ACT/A-Level/AP/IB/IGCSE/WAEC/GED are also accepted by NPU.
Applicants may provide other certificates as proof of academic competency.
4. Language Proficiency Requirements.
HSK Level 4 above 180 points
5. The applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports.
For the applicants who used to be Chinese citizens but later immigrated to other countries, these applicants must hold the passports or the citizenship certificates of their current countries for at least 4 years in addition to the 2-year "proof of residence" in the recent 4 years.
Applicants whose one or both parents are Chinese citizens must provide one of the following supporting documents:
(1) The certificate proving that the applicant obtained the foreign nationality at birth;
(2) For applicants who used to be Chinese citizens but later immigrated to other countries, these applicants shall provide the certificates of cancellation of Chinese nationality.

Applicants who currently live in China should provide non-criminal records from both the home country and China. If the non-criminal record could not be provided temporarily due to any special circumstances, please submit a " Commitment Letter".Applicants should provide the formal non-criminal record as soon as possible.

*5. Physical Examination Certificate base on the prescribed format which should be produced within the last 6 months
Applicants who are currently in China and have the Residence Permit or the Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card can use either of these two documents;scanned copies to substitute the Physical Examination Certificate.

(1) Guardian’s Authorization Letter; the document should be an original copy and notarized.

(2) Guardian’s Guarantee Letter; the guardian should provide the valid ID scanned copy.*7. A clearly scanned copy of the personal information page on the valid passport in color.
The passport should be valid till October 30, 2022. Applicants currently living in mainland China are also required to provide a scanned copy of their current valid visa page or residence permit page.
If a passport is not available at the time of application, the personal information page of the national ID card can temporarily be used for the application. Please note that a valid passport is one of the required materials for admission, and applicants should provide it as soon as possible.*8. Passport photo

*9. A scanned copy of the high school academic transcript for the entire high school period.
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
If the applicant has not yet completed the high school study, the applicant should provide the transcript for all semesters up to the time of application.*10. A clearly scanned copy of the high school graduation certificate.

A scanned copy of the pre-graduation certificate is required if the applicant has not yet earned the high school graduation certificate.
