Program Description
I. Activity Significance
1. Actively respond to the national "new generation artificial intelligence development plan" and the ministry of education's guidance on comprehensively and deeply promoting education informatization during the 13th five-year plan period, assist in promoting the reform of talent training mode and teaching method, and assist in exploring the establishment of a new type of education system of intelligent learning and interactive learning.
2. Strengthen the cultural exchanges between China and the "One Belt And One Road" signatories, and support the promotion of the national "One Belt And One Road" strategy.
3. At present, UAV manufacturing standards, operating regulations and other aspects have not been improved, and the UAV industry is still in the stage of incubation and development. The future main group of UAV industry is current teenagers, and popular science education of UAV is likely to become the support of industrial development. Under the background of quality education and industrial development support, carrying out the UAV challenge competition of popular science education for teenagers is a favorable measure to create school business card and enhance the social recognition and acceptance of school UAV.

VI. Appendix: rules of UAV challenge competition
1 . Competition requirements
- environmental requirements
This competition will be held in groups in the designated venue, and the equipment used is the unified distribution equipment. Therefore, it is required that all equipment except those allocated for the competition shall not be brought into the venue. Once found, it will be disqualified.
- equipment requirements
A. Only the same dispensing equipment is allowed to be used in this competition, and equipment that is accidentally dispensed with equipment is not allowed to be used in the competition;
B. It is prohibited to use strong light and flash equipment to take pictures of the teams that have interference;
C. For the remote control and ground equipment, the following points shall be observed;
D. No other electronic equipment shall be used to interfere with the team.
2. Competition items and rules
2.1 UAV assembly
After the referee gives the starting instruction, the teams begin to assemble the UAV for the competition. After the assembly is completed, power on and start up the UAV. The UAV will take off from the ground 1 meter manually and complete the assembly project.The team with the shortest time scored 100 points, and the other teams scored 100×the team with the shortest time/the team with the shortest time - overall ranking.
2.2 application scenarios for flight competitions
The UAV completed by assembly contest is used for flight competition, which is divided into two stages: application task acquisition flight stage; Application scenario mission flight phase.
2.2.1 apply the task to obtain the flight rules
This stage is the mission reconnaissance stage. The participating UAV is used to fly in FPV mode to complete time-limited takeoff, fixed-altitude flight, obstacle crossing and target task acquisition. Specific scoring rules are as follows:
Time-limited takeoff: takeoff is completed within 1 minute, climb to 2m height, if more than 1 minute, add 1 minute in total;
Fixed altitude flight: the UAV maintains a flat flight at a height of 2m, with obvious fluctuation during the flight. If the fluctuation range exceeds 0.5m, add 1 minute in total.
Obstacle crossing: crossing the circle with a diameter of 1.5m, add 1 minute in total when the collision occurs;
Task target acquisition: the UAV flies to the specified position and correctly describes the items in the specified position as input for the next game. Adds 3 minutes to the total for successfully obtaining the item description at the specified location.
2.2.2 apply the rules of scene task flight competition
This stage is the implementation stage of the task. The UAV is used to complete the graphical programming, the fixed-point landing, the fixed-point throwing, and the homing and landing. Specific scoring rules are as follows:
Time-limited takeoff: finish the graphical programming of the UAV within 3 minutes, climb to 2m height after takeoff, and add 1 minute in total after 3 minutes;
Fixed-point landing and loading pickup: the UAV lands at A fixed point (different tasks correspond to regions A and B), and USES visual programming to control the mechanical arm to pick up and take off the task items successfully. If the flight is in the wrong area, the total amount will increase by 2 minutes; if the mechanical arm does not carry out the clamping action, the total amount will increase by 2 minutes; if the task is not completed, the total amount will increase by 5 minutes.
Fixed point throwing: the UAV flies over the mission area, controls the mechanical arm to perform the open action, and throws the target object. If the robot arm does not perform the opening action, the total value will increase by 2 minutes; if the target object is not thrown into the target area, the total value will increase by 3 minutes.
Homing and landing: UAV homing and landing.
2.2.3 application of scoring rules in scene flight competitions
Add the total amount of flight and application scenario task flight game to obtain the total amount of flight game. The team with the shortest time will score 100 points, and the other teams will score 100 times the team with the shortest time/the team with the shortest time - the overall ranking.
2.3 team total score
The total score of each team is: total score = UAV assembly score×0.3 + total score of application scene flight×0.7. The overall ranking is based on the team's total score.
