Entry Requirements

1.Good physical and mental health (no infectious or contagious diseases and no physical or mental disorders that could interfere with regular study).

2.Applicants for master's program should be under 30 by September 1st, 2026.

3.Academic Requirement: By September 1st, 2026, applicants for master's program must hold a bachelor's degree.

4.Learning Ability: Applicants should have good learning ability and academic performance. The requirement for previous academic grade level is an average score of 75% and above. For CSC scholarship applicants, the requirement for previous academic grade level is an average score of 80% and above.

Applicants may provide other evidence of academic ability, such as the GRE and GMAT scores.

5.Language Requirement: IELTS Academic Test overall 6.5 or above (no less than 5.5 in each element)

TOEFL 90 or above (My best Scores, iBT home edition, Essentials, DI code C317 are accepted)

Duolingo English Test (120 or above)

PTE Academic (60 or above)

6.Nationality Requirements: The applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports.

For the applicants who used to be Chinese citizens but later immigrated to other countries, these applicants must hold the passports or citizenship certificates of their current countries for at least 4 years in addition to the 2-year “proof of residence” in recent 4 years.

Applicants whose one or both parents are Chinese citizens must provide one of the following supporting documents:

1) The certificate proving that the applicant obtained the foreign nationality at birth;

2) For applicants who used to be Chinese citizens but later immigrated to other countries, these applicants shall provide the certificates of cancellation of Chinese nationality.

*1. A copy of the personal information page of your valid passport.
The passport should be valid until December 31, 2026 at least. Applicants currently residing in Chinese mainland must also provide a scanned copy of the currently valid visa page or residence permit page.
If the applicant does not have a passport at the time for application, the national ID can be used instead. However the passport is one of the mandatory application documents. Applicants should apply for it and provide to Admissions Office as soon as possible.

Certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization. Both original and official English translated version are required.
A scanned copy of the graduation certificate is required if the applicant completed the Bachelor's or Master's degree study in China.
A scanned copy of the pre-graduation certificate is required if the applicant has not yet earned a Bachelor's or Master's degree certificate. The original degree certificate should be re-submitted prior to registration.
*4. A scanned copy of the academic transcript for the Bachelor degree during the entire study period
Academic Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization. Both original and official English translated version are required.
If the applicant has not yet completed the required Bachelor's degree study, the applicant should provide the transcript of all semesters up to the time of application.

Students who are exempt from providing English proficiency certificate should from countries listed in the downloaded file. You can download a template or sample from here.
*6. Physical Examination Certificate based on the prescribed format which should be produced within the last 6 months

*8. Recommendation letters from two professors ( associate professor or level above).

*9. Non-criminal record (valid for six months).
*10. Bank statement(5000USD).
11. Other supplementary materials required.
12. Officially recognized awards, scientific research achievements (if any).
13. Acceptance letter from a supervisor.
The School of Aeronautics, School of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Electronics and Information, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, School of Life Science and School of Foreign Studies require that the Master Program Applicants have to have the acceptance letter from supervisors to complete the application
For the applicants who apply for master majors in other schools, acceptance letter is not a must and will be a bonus point.

14. Students applying for architecture or design majors shall provide one’s own art/design portfolio.

Tips: For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit.
